Job Description

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will define and scale quality standards across our Product & Engineering organization. You'll work collaboratively with multiple engineering teams to ensure the delivery of critical features meets our highest quality standards. Your success will be measured by your ability to empower teams to produce exceptional deliverables independently, through knowledge sharing and mentorship. You'll build, implement, and continuously improve automated quality assurance tooling while rotating between teams to drive widespread adoption of quality excellence. Working closely with our Quality Lead, Principal Engineers, and Infrastructure teams, you'll champion engineering excellence through hands-on collaboration and strategic guidance.

We are technology agnostic and always strive to choose the best tools for the job. You should be comfortable getting acquainted with new tools, technologies, or approaches fast. The primary tools/technologies you’ll use include Playwright, GitHub Actions, PostgreSQL, Sentry and TypeScript as a programming language. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will. . .

Define, implement, and scale quality standards across multiple product and engineering teamsMentor and guide multiple engineering teams simultaneously to adopt best practices in quality assurance, enabling them to deliver high-quality features independentlyRotate across teams to provide specialized quality support and drive improvementsDesign and implement robust automated quality assurance tools and testing frameworksCreate and maintain comprehensive quality metrics and monitoring systemsDevelop quality-focused documentation, guidelines, and best practicesStay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, advertising, and digital marketing. What We Are Looking For. . .

5+ years of experience in quality engineering with leadership responsibilitiesStrong expertise in test automation frameworks and tools (e. g. , Playwright, Cypress, WebDriverIO, k6, Gatling)Experience with modern CI/CD practices and deployment automationProficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsAutonomy, proactivity and the ability to unblock yourself when you need helpAbility to explain and visualize complex concepts in simple termsAbility to work in a hybrid capacity from our Helsinki office 3 days a week (more if you like).
