Accountant / Financial Controller

We build technology to find undervalued talent, and then aim to give them a platform to succeed. Job Description: Snafu is backed by some of the most well known investors in the industry, and we are now expanding the team to reflect the company's growth over the past two years. This person will be responsible for managing the company’s finances. This includes liaison with the company’s external accounting agency, customer/supplier invoicing, cash flow and budget tracking, day-to-day accounting, monthly & annual closing, and supplier payments.

This role is integral to Snafu’s growth story, and will play a key role in the company scaling up, in our mission to help democratise the music industry with technology. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee day-to-day accounting (with support from an external accounting agency), monthly & annual closing, reconciliations, expense tracking, payroll, and tax compliance. · Lead budgeting, liquidity, working capital forecasting and planning for the company.

· Monthly financial reporting to the CEO, board, and key stakeholders. · Work with Snafu’s tech team to identify and resolve inefficiencies in current finance workflows. · Lead processes for identifying and implementing modern accounting, invoicing, and cash management software. Required Skills and Qualifications: 2 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in financial controlling, accounting, or a similar role; a demonstrated history of implementing more efficient processes or systems is a bonus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Fortnox (or other accounting software) is a bonus.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with artists and internal stakeholders. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines as well as effective prioritization is important. Familiarity with royalty accounting and financial reporting in the music industry is a plus but not a requirement. High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information. Fluency in English is a must, Swedish is a plus.
