Job Description

You are a key member of our team, continually striving to provide our guests with the finest mountain recreational experience by ensuring a safe and well-maintained resort in regard to snow removal.You Will Operate snow removal and other equipment (front-end loader, Bob Cat, large snowplows, snow blowers) in a safe and responsible manner. Engage in snow removal maintenance of Facilities, Parking Areas, Plaza area and general common areas. Perform snow removal in an effective and efficient manner as directed by the Operations Manager and Resort Services Team Lead. Complete in-house training for working at heights and be comfortable working at high elevations. Perform daily light maintenance (topping up fluids, cleaning interior and exterior, greasing, and fuelling of machinery as needed). Recognize and report unusual noises and conditions to team leader or maintenance. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections including removal of snow from equipment at end of shift. Act as a “Resort Ambassador” to guests by being familiar with various resort products and services. Comply with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program. Work extended & flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays in extreme weather conditions. Assist with other duties as assigned.You Have Previous experience operating a Bobcat, large snowplow with bucket attachment, articulated front-end loader, or comparable equipment, with an excellent safety record. A valid class 5 driver’s license with a clear abstract. The physical ability to stand, turn, and lift up to 30 pounds. Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of basic operations and equipment maintenance. A team-oriented mindset and a desire to make a positive contribution to the entire resort. The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people. Training in rope use (an asset). Completion of basic first aid training (an asset).We Offer Competitive Wage: $20.60 per hour.
