As our Social and Community Manager, you will bring strategic vision, creativity, and a pulse on culture to help us connect meaningfully with our audiences.Reporting to the Vice President of Brand and Advertising, you will ensure our social presence reflects Global X’s voice and values, supports key advertising initiatives, and fits seamlessly within a larger, integrated content strategy. You will lead the development and execution of social media calendars for both Global X and BetaPro, each with distinct brand strategies, while weaving in campaign messaging, influencer partnerships, and real-time event amplification.With a strong understanding of data and community behavior, you will use insights to continually refine our approach, driving engagement, deepening brand loyalty, and growing our presence in smart, authentic ways.About Us: Global X Investments Canada Inc. is an innovative financial services company with one of the largest suites of exchange traded funds in Canada. Global X is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mirae Asset Financial Group, which manages more than $800 billion of assets across 19 countries and global markets around the world.Key Responsibilities:Planning & ExecutionDevelop and execute monthly social media content plans for Global X and BetaPro, aligned with broader campaign and content strategies.Manage platform-specific strategies across Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reddit.Able to take complex financial content and create captivating social storytelling. Align campaign content with high-performing organic content and collaborate with influencers for paid amplification.Lead the execution of paid YouTube campaigns to drive subscription growth and brand awareness.Coordinate Reddit AMAs, including topic planning, compliance approvals, and real-time brand representation.Support LinkedIn growth for sales and executive teams through profile development, compliant content, and brand reputation management.Reporting & AnalyticsTo track brand mentions, monitor sentiment, and identify trends or crises in real-time and act on reporting or responding within compliance regulations Create sales-driven social posts to support product outreachProvide weekly and monthly performance reports for senior leadership teamsCollaborate with the Data team to maintain accurate dashboards.Report monthly on Influencer reach and engagement.Conduct ongoing competitive analysis across social platforms, identify trends, and report findings with suggestions for improvement. Relationships & PartnershipsCo-create content with advertising, product and communications teams for cohesive messaging.Build and manage influencer relationships to support product launches and brand campaigns with compliance approvalsLead execution of social platform partnerships, including platform planning, accuracy and persona insights.Identify opportunities to grow our social reach in new channels and communitiesSkills & Experience:5 years of experience in social media strategy, content marketing, or digital communications (financial services an asset).Proven ability to manage multi-platform social calendars and influencer relationships.Familiar with social tools like Meltwater, Later, Google Analytics, Modash, FigmaStrong writing skills with a focus on short-form, engaging content.Experience with social media analytics tools and dashboards reporting.Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, communications, and sales teams.Knowledge of compliance standards in financial services marketing.Familiarity with YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram campaign strategy and optimization.Exposure to Reddit and community engagement platforms.Bonus Skills: Experience with paid social campaigns and influencer marketing.Understanding of SEO and SEM principles.Bachelor’s degree preferredWhat Success Looks Like:Social content that consistently drives engagement, impressions, and organic follower growth.Messaging that feels authentic, investor-friendly, and aligned with brand standardsStrong influencer partnerships that amplify product launches and brand value.Clear reporting that connects social activity to business outcomes and campaign performance.What We Offer:Competitive compensation and benefits package.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Incredible opportunities for professional development and growth.The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the financial well-being of Canadian investors.Global X is an equal opportunity employer, and is committed to providing a respectful, welcoming and accessible environment for all people.
