Kildare.You’ll work in a supportive, person-centred environment providing high-quality care to adults with intellectual disabilities — empowering each person to reach their full potential.What You’ll DoSupport adults with intellectual disabilities in daily livingPromote independence, dignity, and inclusion in the communityDevelop and deliver person-centred care and support plansAssist with personal care, household tasks, and social activitiesAdminister medication and maintain accurate recordsWork closely with a multidisciplinary teamEnsure all care meets HIQA and safeguarding standardsWhat You’ll NeedLevel 7 QQI qualification in Social Care Studies or equivalentMinimum 1 year’s experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities or vulnerable adultsStrong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of HIQA regulations and person-centred planningFull, clean driver’s licence (vehicle provided for transporting residents)Flexibility for evenings, nights, weekends, and 24-hour shifts (80-hour fortnight)Desirable:Training in Studio 3 or Positive Behaviour SupportExperience in residential, community, or not-for-profit settingsFamiliarity with the New Directions model of careWhat’s on OfferCompetitive hourly rate (€17.49–€25.51)Ongoing training and career developmentSupportive, inclusive team cultureCompany vehicle for resident transportThe opportunity to make a genuine difference every dayLocationNaas, Co.
