About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Social Media & Communication Specialist to support the Strategic Communications department with external and internal communications, social media, and media activities. The role requires the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who manages the operations of various social media and communication channels, operationalizes communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging, and supports efforts aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement social media strategies to enhance audience engagement, increase brand reach and following, and build a notable media presence.Manage and curate content for various social media platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, ensuring content optimization for maximum engagement and reach.Create compelling and informative posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia content to effectively communicate the organization’s messages and initiatives.Monitor social media channels for relevant conversations, trends, and opportunities to engage with stakeholders, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate social media campaigns, events, and communications initiatives.Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.Cultivate and maintain relationships with influencers and key stakeholders to amplify the organization’s messaging and enhance brand awareness.Stay up to date with industry news, trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media, media, and communications.Support the organization’s broader communications efforts, including media relations, content creation, and event management.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.Proven track record in social media management, digital marketing, or communications, preferably in an international or cross-cultural environment.In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube, with a strong focus on content optimization for reach and engagement.Hands-on experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including experience managing influencers and external partnerships.Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.SkillsSocial Media Strategy & ManagementContent DevelopmentStrategic ThinkingCommunicationCollaboration & Stakeholder EngagementAdaptability & CreativityAnalytical & Research SkillsNetworking & Relationship BuildingGoal-Oriented MindsetEmotional IntelligencePlanning & Prioritization
