ITP Media Group’s Hospitality & Design division is looking for an energetic, ambitious and innovative Social Media Editor to work across 3 brands. The candidate will have a passion for growing and maintaining engaged audiences and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of executing social packages and big digital-first content ideas, whilst working alongside editorial teams to create captivating copy and eye-catching visuals. This innovative and mobile-driven role will react to data insights and create lively, shareable content. The candidate must be proactive and passionate about creating social-first content, consistently bringing fresh and original storytelling ideas to the table. The Social Media Editor will lead and execute the social media strategy across all three titles, catering each approach to that specific readership.RequirementsKey responsibilities: Set and execute the brand’s social media strategies. Grow audiences and improve engagement on Instagram, LinkedIn and more. Creating a daily and weekly social calendar to coincide with user behaviour. Manage social coverage of live events, from the initial vision to execution. Constantly monitor analytics and adjust content and approach to meet growth goals. Liaise with the editorial teams for each brand to establish what is needed to make a story fly across social channels – from visual assets to vertical video and promotion times. Provide regular feedback to editors and writers on performance – both successes and missed opportunities. Communicate how to best produce social-savvy, must-read content to the wider editorial team. Provide training and reiterate best practices to journalists to ensure quality control across all social platforms. Produce weekly performance reports for the Group Editor. Meet weekly and monthly targets as agreed with the Group Editor. Ensure all content produced fits within the brand guidelines and tone of voice. Work closely with the design team to develop creative concepts for marketing materials and campaigns. Work with the Group Editor to ensure all content reflects the overall content / editorial strategy. Maintain a strong working relationship with the commercial team and work with them to deliver sponsored content campaigns. Occasionally attend events out of hours to create social content. Establish and maintain strong relationships with social media partners across the region, as well as stay ahead of trends, new platforms and engagement metrics within the content industry. Technical Competencies Proven track record of growing an engaged social media audience, across an array of platforms. Experience working with social media management and analytics tools (CrowdTangle, Later, Social Studio, Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Creator Studio, etc). Experience analysing and interpreting data to inform strategy, and providing reporting. Behavioural Competencies Competitive – keeps a keen eye on the competition and wider industry, always staying one step ahead. Accountable – the ideal candidate is ready to take on responsibility for managing projects from concept to fruition. Communicative – proactively provides project status updates to the Group Editor and works transparently with the wider team.
