Job Description

This role is a managerial-level position responsible for leading end-to-end social media strategy and execution. The Social Media Lead/Manager will oversee and mentor a team of three social media team members, ensuring high-quality delivery, operational excellence, and consistent brand performance across all platforms.Key Responsibilities:End-to-End Account Management:Own content planning, publishing, and engagement for all social media channel (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, X, Thread, including live channel)Content Strategy & Execution:Develop and execute engaging Reels, Stories, static posts, and carousels that drive audience interaction and live channel engagement content.Trendjacking & Creative Development:Identify relevant trends and adapt them to Astro’s brand, ensuring our content is timely and culturally relevant.Performance Monitoring & Insights:Track engagement metrics, identify high-performing content, and recommend strategies for growth.Crisis Management & Brand Safety:Proactively address any risks related to content, boosted ads, or community responses.Budget Planning for Social Media:Assess and define budget needs for content creation, and UGC activations of social media.Content Review & Approval: Ensure all content aligns with Astro’s brand personality, meets quality benchmarks, and is optimized for performance.Requirements :Strong communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills.Proven ability to develop social media strategies and interpret data into actionable insights.Creative mindset with the ability to ideate fresh content and adapt to fast-moving trends.Proficiency across major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads) and analytics tools.Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated leadership capabilities; able to guide content teams or external creators.4–5 years of hands-on experience managing all major social media channels.
