Job Description
We are seeking a Social Media Manager with strong brand and content experience to lead strategy, content creation, and execution across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a hungry mind, eager to try new things, and willing to take initiative. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external partners, as well as an ability to manage projects from concept to delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & PlanningLead and execute always-on and campaign-based social strategies.Develop social media and content proposals with minimal supervision.Map short- and long-term strategies with clear implementation plans.Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging ad formats.Contribute to discussions that result in effective, innovative social outputs.Maintain a strong interest in the entertainment and film industry to create relevant, engaging content.Content ManagementOversee content calendars, creative briefs, and publishing schedules across platforms (Meta – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X; YouTube; TikTok).Supervise content flighting, scheduling, and boosting/running ads.Ensure content aligns with best practices for both organic and paid media.Collaborate with creative teams, content creators, and production resources to deliver high-quality assetsComfortable with copywriting for social content and community responses.Community ManagementExperienced with content management and publishing tools (e.g., Sprinklr) and able to learn new tools quickly.Supervise and participate in community moderation to facilitate timely, on-brand responses.Manage crisis situations on social media, following established protocols, and deliver clear, accurate incident reports.Reporting & AnalysisFamiliar with social listening tools to monitor brand health, share of voice, and public sentiment.Create regular reports on always-on and campaign performance against client benchmarks.Analyse data to extract actionable insights and make recommendations for optimisation.Confident in using analytics tools for social media performance tracking.Project & Stakeholder ManagementManage projects end-to-end, from client brief to creative delivery.Build strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.Oversee budgets and timelines, proactively identifying risks and ensuring on-time delivery.Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.Job Specifications1. Knowledge and Experiences Required5–7 years’ relevant experience in social media management, with proven success in content creation, community engagement, and paid media campaigns.Possess leadership qualities to work effectively with cross-discipline teams.Experience with entertainment, film, tourism, travel, luxury, or automotive brands is an advantage.2. Skills RequiredExcellent communication, relationship management, and presentation skills.Strong multi-tasking abilities with a high attention to detail.Proficiency in social tools (e.g., Sprinklr).3. AttributesPositive, can-do attitude with resilience, confidence, and maturity.Team player with a hands-on approach.Able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.Proactive, solutions-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
