The kind of person who thrives on keeping things organized, loves strategy as much as creativity, and isn’t afraid to jump in, experiment, and make things better.If you’re the type who geeks out over a well-planned content calendar, can juggle multiple projects with ease, and loves using tools like AI and ClickUp to work smarter, keep reading 👇 What would you be responsible for?As our Social Media Coordinator, you’ll help plan, organize, and manage Big Cat Creative’s marketing — especially on Instagram, our main platform.Your main focus will be on strategy, scheduling, and coordination — making sure our content and campaigns are planned out, consistent, and on track. You’ll help keep everything organized, from posting schedules to email newsletters to YouTube uploads, and make sure our marketing efforts all work together toward the same goals.You’ll work closely with Erica (our founder) and the team to brainstorm new ideas, plan launches, track results, and make small tweaks based on what’s working best.We’re not looking for someone to design every post or film every video, we can share that load throughout the existing team. Instead, this role is about keeping the marketing/social engine running smoothly, bringing fresh ideas to the table, and helping us show up consistently online. Our two goals for marketing:Make it count.Everything we do should ladder up to bigger goals — growing brand awareness and driving sales. You’ll help ensure every campaign, post, and email is strategic, intentional, and results-driven. You’ll track metrics, review analytics, and adjust plans based on what’s working.Make it fun.Big Cat Creative’s brand is bold, friendly, and fun, and we want our marketing to feel that way too. You’ll help us stay creative and current, brainstorming new ideas and keeping our strategy up to date, aligned with our goals, and fun 😀Responsibilities:Marketing + StrategyCollaborate with the CEO (Erica) and team to plan, refine, and oversee marketing strategy across all channelsManage and organize the marketing calendar, ensuring everything is coordinated and scheduledBrainstorm and pitch creative content ideas, campaigns, and promotionsReview analytics, report performance insights, and adjust strategies as neededCoordinate between marketing team members (content writers, designers, editors, etc.)Track all marketing projects and ensure timely delivery and alignmentMaintain and improve SOPs for marketing workflows and processesUse AI tools to streamline workflows, generate ideas, and support content planning, while keeping everything true to our human, BCC brand voiceWork within our existing systems (especially ClickUp) and be open to learning new tools and processes as we growKeep up with social trends, algorithm changes, and new opportunities Priority ChannelsInstagramLead and manage the overall Instagram strategyPlan and schedule content (Reels, carousels, Stories, captions, etc.)Write captionsCoordinate content creation with Erica and the teamManage community engagement (comments, DMs, story tags, etc.)Track performance metrics and compile monthly reportsStay across what’s trending and suggest creative ways to adaptOptional bonus: appear on camera or film occasional content (eg Reels)Email Marketing (newsletter, launches, sales)Help plan and organize newsletter topics and schedulesCoordinate with team to ensure emails align with campaigns and launchesWrite email newsletters and launch/sales emailsReview performance metrics (opens, clicks, conversions) and suggest improvementsYouTubeOversee scheduling, uploading, and optimization of YouTube videosWrite video titles, descriptions, and tags for SEOCoordinate with the video editor and ensure consistent publishing cadenceTrack analytics and share insights with the teamOptional bonus: edit videos (descript)BlogCollaborate with our Blog manager + team to ensure content aligns with overall campaigns and marketing goalsPinterestCollaborate with our Pinterest manager to ensure content aligns with overall campaigns and marketing goalsSecondary Channels + MiscellaneousTikTok: Oversee reposting and scheduling (currently mainly repurposed IG content currently, not much of a strategy here right now and probably not something)Video Editing: Editing videos for Youtube in Descript.
