Job Description

We’re looking for a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help shape our brand’s digital presence and drive meaningful engagement. In this hybrid role, you’ll be hands-on with content creation, community management, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. You’ll collaborate with teams across Brand Marketing, PR & Influencer Relations, Education, and Graphic Design to bring campaigns to life and grow our online community.What You’ll DoSocial Media Key ResponsibilitiesStrategize, develop, and execute both consumer-focused and professional-facing social media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other digital platforms to drive engagement, awareness, and community growth while ensuring cohesive brand storytellingManage the production of original, high-quality content, repurpose global assets, and leverage user-generated content (UGC) to maximize platform performanceServe as the digital community manager: curate content calendars, craft compelling captions, moderate conversations, and foster authentic engagement in the Dermalogica brand voiceMonitor social performance metrics, analyze data, and implement insights to optimize content strategies and audience engagementCollaborate with the PR & Influencer team to amplify earned media, organic social mentions, and paid partnership contentContinuously explore emerging social trends, platform innovations, and digital marketing best practices to elevate brand presenceGeneral Marketing Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing activations, including product launches, tradeshows, education programs, and key B2B activitiesProvide creative guidance and visual merchandising support to the Brand Marketing as well as the PR & Influencer teamsOversee regional marketing initiatives, including content localization and translation for the Quebec marketMonitor and evaluate select marketing initiatives, providing data-driven recommendations to maximize effectivenessManage the monthly expense reconciliation processCollaboration and CommunicationPartner with Brand Marketing, PR & Influencer, Paid Digital Media, Graphic Design, Education, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of all Marketing activitiesBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, professional accounts, vendors, and external agenciesAct as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency in visuals, messaging, and user experience across all touchpointsExperience You Bring1-3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, and/or marketing communications (beauty/CPG preferred)Expert understanding of all social media platforms and social reporting toolsExceptional strategic and analytical capabilities, with a proven track record of driving community and engagement growth through thorough evaluation of critical performance metricsExperience creating and collaborating on creative assetsSuperior organizational and project management skillsBilingual in French is preferredLive in the GTAWorking conditionsHybrid work model: 60% of work week in-office with core in office hours from 10am-4pmFlexibility required for occasional evenings and weekends based on business need and with notice.Work PerksCompany bonus eligibleCompetitive health/dental benefitsLife insuranceRRSP matching programEmployee Assistance program (EAP) and Access to 24/7 telemedicine serviceMonthly product allocationAccess to LinkedIn Learning virtual learning platformAccess to the wellness Calm appPaid vacation, sick/PEL days, lieu timeAnnual fitness reimbursementMaternity supplemental pay and paternity time offExclusive employee discounts with Unilever prestige brandsProduct and treatment discounts at our flagship locationsAccess to product launches and company social/learning eventsOur commitment to youDermalogica is committed to diversity and inclusion to enhance our business outcomes and create a brighter future for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
