Social Media Marketing InternDibby | NYC/LA | Part-Time | College CreditAbout Dibby We're a marketplace inspection and delivery service that helps people safely buy items from Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and other platforms. We also inspect rental properties and accompany people on apartment tours.When someone finds a couch on Facebook Marketplace or an apartment on Craigslist, we verify it in person before they commit. We check for scams, hidden damage, and red flags. Then we deliver it or help them make an informed decision.We have 145 customers and are growing monthly. Learn more at dibbytour.comAbout the roleYou'll work directly with me to build our social media presence from the ground up. This means creating content together, testing ideas, talking through what's working and what's not, and moving fast to capitalize on what hits.I need someone who can match my pace and wants to be in the room where decisions get made. You'll have real input on strategy, creative direction, and how we position ourselves. This isn't an internship where you execute someone else's plan - we'll figure out the plan together.What you'll work onCreating TikToks, Instagram content, Twitter threads about marketplace scams and how to avoid them. Testing different content formats. Running our referral program. Talking to early users to understand what resonates.We'll meet multiple times a week to review what's working, brainstorm new ideas, and adjust course. You'll have access to all our data, metrics, and user feedback. You'll see exactly how content translates to signups.Who you areYou're in college and need internship credit, but more importantly, you want to work at a pre-seed startup and see how things actually work. You want to be close to the founder and the decisions being made.You don't need experience. You need good judgment, the ability to create content quickly, and the drive to figure things out. You should be someone who naturally notices what makes content work and can articulate why.You're comfortable with intensity. This will demand real hours and real focus, but you'll have support and direction throughout. We're building this together.What you getCollege internship credit. Real responsibility. Close mentorship. You'll learn how an early-stage company thinks about growth, customer acquisition, and building something from scratch.If this goes well and you want to continue after the semester, we can discuss compensation or equity.Details15-20 hours per week during the semester. In-person in NYC/LA Flexible scheduling around your classes.Your school will need to approve this for credit we'll handle whatever paperwork they require.
