The Flip is a media company telling stories of progress across emerging markets. We create documentary series and explainer content that challenge stereotypical narratives about emerging markets.We’re looking for a Social Media Producer to create, produce, and publish social-first content that supports both long-form episode campaigns and original content. This role involves developing ideas, scripting, and managing the content pipeline from start to finish. The Social Media Producer will collaborate closely with the marketing lead, editors, and motion graphics team to ensure content is delivered strategically and effectively.This role is fully remote, with a weekly meeting in the EST timezone.✳️ The content created will focus on real stories and insights, rather than marketing products or brands.What you'll do at The FlipGenerate original short-form content ideas and identify compelling story angles from long-form episodes to support campaigns.Make strategic decisions on topics, formats, and approaches, experimenting with platforms, styles, and AI tools for research and scripting.Script all short-form content and coordinate with editors and motion graphics teams throughout production.Manage production timelines, review editor cuts, and provide actionable feedback before final approval.Publish and optimize content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, writing engaging captions and CTAs.Test posting times, formats, and strategies per platform, analyzing performance metrics to refine content.Collaborate with the Marketing & Distribution Lead on campaign needs, participate in weekly planning and performance meetings, and brief the production team clearly on expectations.Manage community engagement across all platforms.What Success Looks LikeConsistent high-quality, engaging short-form contentStrong creative ownership with minimal formal approval requiredMeasurable engagement and reach growth across platformsSmooth and efficient workflow aligned with content distribution goalsSystematic approach to producing content, analyzing results, and iteratingWe'd love to hear from you if you have:Experience creating social-first content, whether as a creator, in media, or within a brand.Strong social media marketing and content strategy skills, including managing accounts and driving engagement.Storytelling and scriptwriting experience for short-form formats.Familiarity with video production workflows and collaborating with editors and motion graphics teams.Excellent writing and communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and remotely.Portfolio of work demonstrating relevant experience.Tools this role will work with:DescriptMonday.comSlackGoogle SuiteClaude AI and Gemini
