Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities, include: Conduct a thorough analysis to identify opportunities for expediting the deployment of features by the LIMS teams, focusing on operational and maintenance aspects of IT systems. Evaluate various operational and delivery models to enhance efficiency. Investigate and recommend optimal system infrastructure options, including on-premises, private cloud, shared vs. dedicated application/database instances, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
Develop materials for Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, as necessary. Assess potential outsourcing options for LIMS configuration to vendors, including buy-in of existing featuresCreate recommendation scenarios that evaluate the impact of operational costs on the current upgrade delivery cadence, as well as on future initiatives based on analysis findings. Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive business cases for identified scenarios. QualificationsProven experience with LabVantage LIMS is highly desirableKnowledge and experience with both on-premises and SaaS IT solutions. Familiarity with RFP processes and vendor management. Experience in outsourcing IT tasks to vendors. Experience with development of business cases, incl.
