Bgesh is looking for eager and qualified Software Developer, Applications - SME to join our team supporting the Interior Business Center’s Human Resources Directorate in developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

QUALIFICATIONS : • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field. • Master’s degree is preferred. • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of specialized experience in software applications development. • Valid Driver’s License. • Ability to pass a federal government background Check • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC). • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript). • Experience with APIs, frameworks, and cloud technologies. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Ability to complete annual end-user IT Security Awareness • Ability to complete annual IT Resources Rules of Behavior • Ability to complete annual Role-Based Security training for IT professionals.Ability to comply with all Bureau/DOI IT security training requirements in effect during contract performance.
DUTIES: • Lead development from inception to deployment. • Provide technical guidance and strategic direction. • Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. • Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. • Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. • May supervise computer programmers. • Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, administrators, and medical staff to effectively provide healthcare services. • Other duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE & PAY: • Full Time, Monday-Friday. 6am-6pm MST. No holidays.
