Software Automation Engineer

Scope of work:Analyzes, designs, builds, and executes comprehensive and well-structured manual test plans and test cases to validate backend, frontend, database, integration, and end-to-end functionality. Creates and manages defect reports for identified issues. Designs, builds, and executes reusable automation test plans and test cases. Builds and maintains automated scripts and test automation framework. Analyzes issues related to automated testing, researches solutions, and adds, modifies, or enhances existing automated scripts. Works closely with other engineering team members and departments on technical issues and updates. Determines the severity and scope of issues to determine key priorities needed for resolution. AI awareness and a willingness to learn AI efficiencies in testing. Analyzes manual and automated test results and determines the root causes of issues.Requirements:Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required2+ years of experience, required. Foundational knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with a variety of testing techniques (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM). Experience with performance and load testing. Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, Java, and Python with experience using Git/GitHub repositories. Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively build relationships and drive positive outcomes. Experience with CI/CD/DevOps methodologies and tools and the practical implementation of DevOps processes. Skilled in automated testing practices and tools such as Selenium, QTP/UFT, j-meter or other similar tools and Web Service testing. Ability to write test scripts from scratch for manual testing.
