Job Description – ADAS Engineer/ Software Control EngineerExperience Required: 5+ yearsLocation: Hamamatsu, JapanLanguage Requirement: JLPT Level N3 or aboveJob Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Engineer to support the development of AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) and ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating control logic and communication specifications for next-generation vehicle safety systems, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.Development of AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) camera systems.Designing and developing collision avoidance control using forward-facing cameras to detect obstacles and pedestrians.Development of ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) systems.Designing and developing speed control and inter-vehicle distance maintenance systems.Creating control and communication specifications, performing data analysis, simulations, and test evaluations.Participating in the overall vehicle control software development process.MUST Requirements:Experience in creating control or communication specifications, or in data analysis.Experience in creating control specifications, able to make decisions based on Suzuki requirements, and capable of project management.Knowledge of VBA, Python, etc., with the ability to create macros or tools to improve work efficiency.Preferred / WANT Requirements:Knowledge of Simulink and C language.Experience with CANoe and HILS operation.Knowledge or development experience in AEB and ACC systems.Experience creating simulation or test scripts using CAPL or similar tools.
