Software Developer

 We are working with our client on an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join their growing team in Cayman. This role focuses on data engineering, process automation, and business intelligence initiatives.Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage data ingestion pipelines using tools such as Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, or similar ETL/ELT platforms. Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models, and reports with focus on scalability, data modeling best practices, and row-level security. Implement process automation solutions using Power Automate, Alteryx, Azure Logic Apps, or scripting (Python, PowerShell). Translate business requirements into system workflows and technical designs. Apply data quality checks, validation rules, and error handling to ensure reliable outputs. Work across multiple systems (CRM, ERP, financial, HRIS, document systems) in an integration-focused role. Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Business teams to identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements. Support documentation, solution roadmapping, and Agile delivery practices.Technical Skills 5+ years in IT operations, data engineering, or business process automation roles. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure services (Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Synapse/Fabric preferred). SQL and database experience (Azure SQL, SQL Server). Familiarity with data governance concepts including metadata, lineage, and master data management.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable process efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
