We are looking for developer in OSS Wireline Diagnostics, you will design and develop solutions to support our frontline teams diagnose customer issues and drive innovative designs on key technology components.What will you be doing? You will work in a fast-paced environment in a small, Agile team where you will collaborate with teams across the company to tackle complex technical challenges. You will be listening to the customer to identify issues and build requirements. You will be creating solutions help diagnose customer issues and better support our frontline teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain robust backend services using Spring Boot frameworkBuild responsive and interactive web applications using ReactJSCreate cross-platform mobile applications using React NativeDesign and implement event-driven architectures using Apache KafkaCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutionsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews and maintain high coding standardsTroubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performanceWork with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party servicesImplement real-time data streaming and messaging solutionsParticipate in agile development processes and sprint planningWhat You BringYou are a strong communicator who can break down complex, technological explanations to layman’s terms. You are ready to collaborate with the team to find an innovative solution to every problem you come across. You are an awesome team player who has respect for everyone’s ideas. You can commit to multiple projects at once with changing priorities and see it through to completion.Your Technical Skills IncludeDegree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience Strong Java, JavaScript, Bash skills with Python, React, UNIX shell scripts experience as a plusExperience Spring boot development framework, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud implementation.Experience with Maven, Jersey, Oracle DB is highly desired, Home Network/Docsis Knowledge is a bonusFamiliarity with Weblogic is an assetExperience with version control (GitHub, Subversion, etc.)Test-driven developmentRelational database design and SQL To protect our people, brand and assets, a pre-employment background check will be conducted.
