Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Electronics.Job Responsibilities:What you can expectLead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, robust, and secure software solutionsTroubleshoot complex issues in production and non-production environmentsMonitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestonesBreak down complex tasks into actionable development work and allocate assignments to the teamGuide and mentor software engineers to improve their skills and productivityReview code and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and maintainabilityConduct code and architecture reviews to maintain quality and engineering standardsEvaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve software development efficiencyActing as the bridge between the development team and other stakeholders, such as project managers, product managers, and clientsWhat You'll BringBachelor’s degree in computer engineering / software engineering / electrical engineering / computer science or equivalentProven experience (8+ years) in automotive software developmentDeep understanding of the automotive environment and development processes in the automotive industryProficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems with real-time constraints and Python being a plusExperience in design and development of Classic AUTOSAR SW componentsSolid understanding of vehicle network protocols (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet)Knowledge of ARM architecture and MCUs (e.g., Infineon, NXP, Renesas)Experience with bootloaders, OTA updates, and UDS diagnosticsExperience with development tools like Vector CANoe, CANape, Lauterbach, Vector Davinci, Elektrobit TresosExperience in integrating and debugging embedded software on target hardwareExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsExperience leading a team of developers and delivering complex projectsKnowledge of automotive safety and quality standards: ISO 26262, ASPICE, MISRA C/C++Able to work effectively in a global environmentAble to represent technical design topics internally and externallyVery good English language skillsWhat We OfferFlexible working hours and hybrid workHealth programs, sports and team eventsAn extensive training program and exciting internal development opportunitiesMeal allowanceAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
