The developer will be primarily working on our next generation cross-platform app with releases on Android and iOS platforms. The developer should be a self-starter, avid learner and have a passion for mobile application development. The person should also have strong fundamentals centered around software development paradigms such as OOP and SOLID principles. Experience developing apps with Flutter is a plus.What You’ll Work OnUnderstanding of OOP, SOLID, APIs and MVVM Passion for learning new skillsetLearn and develop mobile applications with FlutterWrite unit and integration testsWrite technical documentation including but not limited to software detailed design and technical review documentsExcellent verbal and written communicationCode reviewsRequired QualificationsMaster’s degree/Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in Electrical/computer Engineering or computer science or equivalent.Preferred Qualifications2+ years Software development experienceProficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.) and collaborative development workflowsExperience developing mobile applications via Flutter with Dart language is a plusStrong knowledge of software development processes and methodologiesCI/CD and SDLC experienceAbility to work within a team and as a high performing individual contributor in a fast-paced, agile environmentAI experience is a plusLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.comFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
