Our fifth-generation Spectacles, powered by Snap OS, showcase how standalone, see-through AR glasses make playing, learning, and working better together.We’re looking for an Augmented Reality Software Engineer to join the Snap Lab team!What you’ll do:Design, improve, and support reusable components, interactions, frameworks and SDKs that enable immersive experiences on Snap Spectacles Augmented Reality GlassesDevelop components of the operating system powering Spectacles, SnapOSParticipate in code and design reviewsInteract with design, interactive engineering, and product teams to shape and launch productsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience in one or more object oriented languages like C++, Kotlin or JavaExperience in delivering top quality, performant and scalable code with extensive unit / functional testingExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detailMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent practical experience5+ years of software development experiencePreferred Qualifications:7+ years of experience building and shipping high performance codeExperience with operating systems, resource-constrained devices and 3d graphicsPractice designing SDKs, APIs and PlatformsIf you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information."Default Together" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
