Our team is fast-paced, independent, ambitious and have end to end ownership of the Kogan.com site, the Android native application, and Kogan Shopping Android native application.What you'll do:Architect, build and scale new features across our internal platforms that power every part of Kogan.com’s operationsContinuously improve backend databases and APIs to boost performance, reliability and scalability for thousands of customers, team members and suppliersWork closely with our Business Analyst and stakeholders across logistics, engineering and other teams to turn business needs into smart, efficient technical solutionsTake ownership across the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, UAT and deployment, with code shipping to production frequentlySupport a culture of engineering excellence by contributing to QA efforts, peer reviews and helping lift the technical bar across the teamWhat you'll need:Technical Skills: Proven experience with C# .NET Framework, .NET (for Linux and Windows), MS SQL Server, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and REST APIsVersion Control: Strong understanding of Git and version control best practicesTesting Proficiency: Solid experience with unit and integration testing to ensure reliability and maintainabilityCloud and Containerization: Familiarity with AWS and Docker is a strong advantageCommunication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on building effective working relationshipsConscientiousness: Takes ownership and accountability for deliverables, monitors outcomes post-deployment, and proactively resolves issues or bugsAdaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, with the flexibility and drive to adjust to shifting prioritiesWhy Kogan.com?Our culture is unlike anywhere else and regardless of where you are in your career journey, we empower you to do your best work and have a big impact.
