We manage market risk, optimize growth, and ensure economic safety for protocols facilitating most spot trading, borrowing, and lending activity across all of DeFi, protecting and optimizing the largest protocols and networks in the industry, which secure and manage over $42 billion in customer assets. Join us as we drive the adoption and understanding of the financial systems of the future.Join a newly formed product pod focused on our next-generation decentralized application (dApp), which allows users to deposit and withdraw into vaults directly. This is a critical, high-impact initiative to evolve our current dashboard into a direct revenue-generating product. You will provide technical leadership in a remote-first environment, building a robust, user-facing experience at the heart of our business.Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack features for our core decentralized application, ensuring high performance and scalabilityPartner closely with front-end engineers to deliver cohesive and seamless user experiencesProvide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharingEngage in systems design and architecture discussions to build robust backend services supporting the applicationParticipate actively in code reviews and design sessions, promoting best practices and high-quality code standardsCollaborate with product managers and researchers to translate requirements into effective technical solutionsDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues to maintain system reliability and performanceRequirementsEssential Qualifications:Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack engineeringLanguage Proficiency: Strong proficiency in TypeScript for full-stack developmentBackend Skills: Solid experience with backend systems and APIs, including systems design and architectureProduct Focus: Proven ability to design and implement user-centric applications, emphasizing seamless user experiencesFlexibility: Familiarity with Python or the ability to be language agnosticCollaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers and mentor team membersProblem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on the entire application development lifecycleBonus Points:Interest or experience in DeFi concepts like decentralized applications (dApps) and on-chain interactionsHistory utilizing, at any level, technologies and languages like Solidity or RustFamiliarity with financial technology (fintech) products and user experiences, particularly those that handle monetary transactions or sensitive user dataExperience developing and shipping user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks such as ReactExperience working in smaller teams or startups, demonstrating broad technical versatilityBackground working with data pipelines or tooling, including ETL processes, orchestration tools, and integrating data flows in production environmentsBenefitsWork Model: Remote-first—work from anywhere in the US & Canada!
