Engineer a better future with Danfoss, where meaningful change begins with you!Position is located in Vaasa, Tampere, Helsinki or Lappeenranta.What You’ll Be Doing Design and implement the SDT UI tool for our marine product family, ensuring usability and performance. Collaborate and support other engineers in developing and integrating software for marine control systems. Contribute to agile development, actively participating in planning, refinement, and continuous improvement of the team backlog. Engage in marine delivery projects, helping shape systems and environments to meet evolving customer expectations. Continuously learn and innovate, exploring new technologies that enhance software quality and sustainability. What We're Looking For Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software, Electrical, or Automation Engineering—or equivalent experience. Technical expertise: Proficiency in C# .NET Core, Node.js, Angular, HTML/CSS, and familiarity with JSON, XML, PowerShell, YAML, and Remote Desktop. Collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment with clear and confident communication in English (basic Finnish is an advantage). Mindset: Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong willingness to learn and create new solutions. Preferred experience: Exposure to Structured Text, Beckhoff Automation Interface, Azure Pipelines, Azure DevOps, Git, Python scripting, or automation systems is considered a plus.
