Backed by Delnie Innovation Lab, we focus on dish-level recommendations powered by community insights and AI personalisation.Currently in beta with 26,000+ users across 700 cities, we’re building the future of food discovery — connecting explorers, creators, and local restaurants through smart technology and data-driven storytelling.🌐 www.favhiker.com👩‍💻 Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Software Engineer I passionate about full-stack development and AI-driven systems to join our fast-growing engineering team at Delnie Innovation Labs.You’ll work closely with our product, design, and growth teams to develop scalable, high-performance systems for FavHiker and other Delnie products.🧩 Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain Next.js web applications with Node.js backend services.Design scalable MongoDB schemas and optimize database queries.Develop and integrate AI-powered personalization modules using APIs and automation tools.Deploy and manage applications using AWS ECS, Amplify, or Serverless frameworks.Collaborate with the UI/UX team to create seamless, responsive user experiences.Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and version control (Git).Contribute to product architecture and participate in feature planning discussions.Integrate APIs and manage microservices for performance and reliability.🎯 Requirements1–2 years of experience in full-stack web development.Strong skills in Next.js, React, Node.js, and Express.js.Experience with MongoDB and Mongoose.Working knowledge of AWS ECS, Amplify, or Lambda deployments.Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservice architecture.Familiarity with Docker and containerised workflows.Basic knowledge of AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.) preferred.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.💡 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)Experience with TypeScript, Redis, or WebSocket.Familiarity with Serverless Framework, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation.Exposure to multi-tenant systems or admin panel development.Interest in AI product engineering and personalisation algorithms.Contributions to open-source or personal side projects.🌟 What You’ll GetWork with a fast-growing innovation lab driving real product impact.Build AI-powered platforms that reach thousands of users.Creative freedom to experiment with architecture and features.Direct mentorship from experienced product engineers and founders.Visibility and recognition in the startup and tech ecosystem.A chance to shape the future of food discovery in India.
