We are CNN.To see what it’s like to work at CNN, follow @WBDLife on Instagram and X!Your Role Accountabilities...Engineering and Implementation:Build and maintain features tightly integrated with our CMS platform for editors and product teams to configure, launch, and monitor A/B and multivariate testsCollaborate on APIs and services for experimentation, integrations with frontend and backend systemsWrite clean, efficient software code with a focus on maintainability and performanceParticipate in regular testing, QA coverage analysis, and deployment processes to ensure production readinessCollaboration and Delivery:Partner closely with peer engineers to learn and build experimentation systems, from architectural design to iterative feature development to production releasePartner with product and analytics leads to define and deliver high-impact testing featuresParticipate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to develop team delivery skillsContribute to code reviews, architectural design documentation, and engineering process workflowsMentorship and Growth:Provide peer mentorship through informal code reviews and collaborative debuggingShare technical insights during team meetings and sprint ceremoniesLead knowledge-sharing sessions and create technical documentationEncourage inclusive engineering practices and a test-and-learn mindsetQualifications and Experience...Backend Node.js (2+ years of experience)AWS (Lambda/S3/ECS/RDS) / Infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)Unit, Functional Testing & TDDTypescript / JavaScriptJavaScript frameworks (such as React, Vue, or Angular)Fluent in EnglishBonus Skills:KafkaCI/CDAPI Development (such as REST or RPC)GoRustA/B testingData engineeringContent Management SystemsOn June 9, 2025, Warner Bros.
