Software Engineer in Test

OverviewWe’re looking for a highly experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Dublin team onsite. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for modern web applications, working closely with developers and QA to ensure fast, reliable, and high-quality delivery from code commit to production.What We’re Looking For8+ years of QA automation experience, including C# and .NET.5+ years of Selenium WebDriver API automation.5+ years with unit testing frameworks (MSTest, NUnit, JUnit).5+ years testing modern web apps (ASP.NET, Angular, JavaScript).Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.Strong object-oriented design of UI components and pages.Solid knowledge of XPath and Regular Expressions.Familiarity with Jira for work item management.Understanding of code management, branching, and merging strategies.Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal/written communication and critical thinking.Pride in delivering high-quality, reliable work.(Bonus) Experience automating other testing types (e.g., performance).Your ResponsibilitiesImprove and report on the quality of software product functionality and deployment.Design and implement .NET, Angular, and Silverlight automated test cases.Execute, analyze, and debug automated tests against web applications.Collaborate with the automation team to enhance the core automation framework.Work closely with development and QA teams to improve tools and processes.Drive toward minimizing touchpoints between code commit and production deployment.Why Join Kake?Kake provides top-tier engineering teams to support some of the world’s most innovative companies, and we’ve built a culture where great people stay, grow, and thrive.
