Join us to pursue your passion and unleash your potential.ResponsibilitiesDesign, code and maintain automated scripts, functions/function libraries, database verification, and behavior and data-driven testsWork with Agile team to reduce manual/repetitive tasks and assist with writing test automation casesAdopt best practices when developing automation code including comment documentation, maintainability, and data-driven developmentTroubleshoot environmental set-up issues related to automationDrive and contribute to the improvement of testing methods, processes and deliverablesDesign and develop reusable, automated tests in accordance with coding best practicesWith the Agile team, provide accurate estimates for user stories and automation test efforts for each sprintPartner with the Agile development team to deliver on commitmentsDocument, track, and report on product defectsKeep current with quality testing, trends, techniques, tools and processesParticipate in design reviews to ensure both functional and non-functional attributes are built in.Participate in automation and manual test plan reviews and code reviewsDocument automation solutions so they are easily understood and maintainableQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or closely related field) - PreferredMaster's Degree in Computer Science (or closely related field) - PreferredExperience using industry automation testing tools such as Robot Framework, Guage, Selenium WebDriver, WATIR, SoapUI, CodedUIExperience with object-oriented programming language such as Java or Python or 1 year with a Master’sExperience with SQL and Data bases such as MS SQL or 1 year with a Master’s.Experience with API Testing using REST, SOAP or GraphQL protocols or 1 year with a Master’s.Experience in testing web solutions across multiple platforms and browsers or 1 year with a Master’s.Experience with full software development life cycle and software engineering best practices or 1 year with a Master’sExperience using versioning software like JIRA or Git or 1 year with a Master’sExperience working in Agile /Scrum teams and concepts, including test-driven development or 1 year with a Master’sExperience working in a SaaS environment preferred.What's in it for you?A flexible virtual-first work philosophyGenerous paid time off Company paid private health insuranceCompany paid life and disability insurancePaid leave for illness, birth parents, non-birth parents, elder caregivers, marriage, adoption of a child and bereavementInclusive and accessible Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to help with everyday challengesChristmas and Easter bonusesWork-from-home allowanceOpportunity for strengthening expertise and skills through Paychex’s learning platform, including lessons in EnglishNot sure if you meet every requirement?At Paychex, we know that great talent comes in many forms.
