Software Engineer in Test

We’ve helped companies reduce fraud by 95% and achieve 32x ROI, and we’re growing fast, thanks to our partnerships with some of the world’s most ambitious digital brands like Revolut, Wise, and Bilt.As a Software Engineer in Test you create automated functional and non-functional tests for our applications, aid developers in writing good unit tests, and take part in designing new systems with testability in mind.This role offers flexibility and is based in our Budapest office with a hybrid schedule of being in the office approximately three days per week.What You’ll DoEnsure the test coverage for various components of our BackEnd applicationsImprove the test framework with focus on maintainability, reliability and speedSupport development team with emphasis on test automationTroubleshoot test failuresEnsure FFT (Fast Follow Testing) test automation implementation and maintain coverageDevelop test data to support automated testing with some exposure to manual testingDeliver non functional (performance) testWhat You Bring3+ years of experience in software engineering in test with a solid understanding of testing and test automationStrong understanding of at least one test framework (eg: Selenium, PlayWright, Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, Sinon, pytest)Experience in at least one programming language, Python, TypeScript or Java preferred.Ability to communicate cross-functionally with developers, product and QA.Experience with Git (Github) and CI/CD pipeline executionStrong understanding of services, API, Event testingSEON Technologies collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
