Our cloud-native acquiring platform is processing billions of card transactions including authorization processing and clearing & settlement for our customers to trust. Currently, we are looking for a skilled product-oriented DevOps Software Engineer to team up with one of our product-oriented DevOps teams.Day-to-Day Responsibilities Our autonomous teams work with a lean product focused DevOps culture that continuously delivers true outcome, and if you build it, you run it! This means that you are responsible for:Active participation and contribution in all phases of the product lifecycle including discovery, delivery and operationsDelivering your team’s committed objectives, adapting to whatever is needed to reach the goal you and your team have committed yourselves to reachSecuring an outstanding qualitative service availability 24/7/365 and on-call duty is expected according to a rotating scheduleYou love identifying the outcomes to be achieved together with your team, our customers, our internal users, other stakeholders and suppliers to deliver a truly outstanding acquiring processing experience for our customer and our business to love.What makes you stand out You are a junior to mid-experienced Software Engineer used to full-cycle DevOps modeYou have been developing in Java/AWS for some time exposed to micro-services and serverless technologiesHave highly collaborative attitude, setting your team first while also successfully collaborating with othersYou are comfortable in a fast-moving and agile culture - handling many different stakeholders, prioritizations and fast decisions is not an issue for youIf you have previous experience from the card-payment industry, preferably acquiring processing or other transaction intense industry where scale is important that’s a big advantageBeing passionate about delivering a payment acquiring experience that brings value for our customers and our businessActing as a role model for your team and others by paying attention to commitment, accountability and the true outcome for yourself, your team, our customers and internal usersWho Are We Looking ForPeople who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. You also have:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or other meaningful field Have confirmed experience in software development including Java, Python and SQL etc.Experience from high-available micro-services and serverless architecture and design leveraging on the AWS cloud for scalability and resilience.As a result, we would like you also to have some experience in/interest forAWS cloud services including DynamoDB, Lambdas, S3 etc.Infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormationContinuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins and GITDockerKnowledge secure codingA deep understanding of software quality assurance principlesFluency in English (Swedish is an advantage)Valid working permit for Sweden (office location is Stockholm)Skills we’d like Experience from DevOps ways of working and lean culturePaying attention to commitment, accountability and result for yourself and for your team.Experience from developing secure and/or PCI-DSS certified solutions is considered an advantageGood communication and presentation abilitiesChallenging status quoHaving a technical and curious mindset, continuously learning and sharing your knowledge with your peers and others.Perks & Benefits At Worldline, you’ll get the chance to be at the heart of the global payments technology industry and shape how the world pays and gets paid.
