Software Engineer (Networking)

Our AI-driven platform turns complex network data into real-time security insights for some of the world’s largest and most mission-critical organizations.We're seeking a Software Engineer (5+ years' experience) with a strong background in networking to help design, develop, and optimize our next-generation Analytics products. The ideal candidate combines solid software engineering fundamentals with deep understanding of modern network architectures, protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies.What You’ll Do·  Design and develop software components related to network data ingestion, protocol analysis, and traffic classification.·  Build and optimize systems that analyze L2/L3/Layer-7 network behaviors to determine device identity, risk posture, and communication patterns.·  Develop features related to switching, routing, segmentation, and policy enforcement for enterprise, healthcare, manufacturing, and mission-critical environments.·  Work with packet-level data, flow logs, and network metadata to extract actionable insights.·  Troubleshoot complex field issues spanning application logic, network behavior, and device interactions.· Collaborate with engineering, product management, and data science teams to deliver secure, scalable features.· Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.QualificationsEducation:BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Technical Skills:5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant exposure to networking-related development.Strong proficiency in one or more languages: C/C++, Python, or Java.Hands-on experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, ACLs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, SNMP, or similar.Experience working with networking stacks, packet analyzers, and debugging tools.Familiarity with AI tools and SQL Database.Familiarity with Linux systems, kernel networking concepts, sockets programming, and multithreaded development.Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and performance engineering.Ability to translate customer requirements and technical needs into robust engineering solutions.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.Capable of working independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.Customer-focused mindset and attention to detail.Why Join OrdrWork directly with global customers — from world-class hospitals to industrial and financial leaders — deploying AI solutions that protect their most critical assets.Be part of a cross-functional AI team bridging research, engineering, and customer success.See your work move from prototype to production and real-world impact.Learn from top-tier AI and cybersecurity professionals.Competitive salary, stock options, and comprehensive benefits.
