Familiarity with the following services will make your life easier:- AWS Lambda- API Gateway- DynamoDB- Redis- PostgreSQLInfrastructure as Code & CI/CDYou should be comfortable with declarative infra and automated pipelines. We use:- Terraform- GitHub Actions(Or similar tools - experience with the concepts is important.)Development PracticesYou should either have experience with - or a strong sense that you'd thrive in - the following:- Git & GitHub workflows (pull requests, code reviews, small-team collaboration)- Writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests- Observability practices (logs, metrics, traces - the good stuff)- Genuine Agile: - Individuals and interactions > processes and tools - Working software > comprehensive documentation - Customer collaboration > contract negotiation - Responding to change > following a plan - (No SCRUM rituals here - just real agility)Preferred Qualities- Engineering Mindset: - You debug with precision and design with restraint - You favor simple, maintainable solutions- Comfortable with ambiguity - you iterate toward clarity, not wait for it- Communicate with empathy and directness, whether in team syncs or customer feedback loopsBonus Skills (Nice to Have)- TypeScript, Zod, or schema validation experience- Linux-first workflows (WSL counts!)- Strong opinions on developer ergonomics
