Learn more about life and purpose of our company directly from the Romanian colleagues’ video: Bucharest, Romania | Where We Work | LSEGWe are working hybrid (1-3 days from office/ week)We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience in Node.js with TypeScript to join our team responsible for building integrated solutions for Microsoft Office users.Our Microsoft Office add-in gives Refinitiv Workspace users an unmatched financial data and intuitive UIs to make smart decisions in daily business.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirementsDevelop software using disciplined software development principles and lead and mentor the team on the sameBuild unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirementsReuse existing systems that drive complex applicationsEnsures responsiveness for applications and servicesIdentify and resolve performance and stability issuesHandle individual project priorities, and workCollaborate with Product Managers, UX team, and Software Engineers to deliver an outstanding productWork closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the work you're doingStaying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languagesRequirements3+ years proven experience in TypeScript and Node.jsSolid technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testingStrong experience in CI/CD, unit testing frameworks, automation (testing/deployment)Experienced with Agile methodologies, ScrumExcellent problem-solving and interpersonal skillsAttention to detailsDesired SkillsExperience in using Office.js and Office APIsFamiliar with C++Familiar with RESTful interfacesBenefits:We are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios!
