Software Engineer with SCADA

The team works across operational and technical domains to ensure robust, scalable, and secure solutions that support our modernisation journey.As a team, we care about each other, succeed as one, and bring passion into building solutions that matter.You’ll play an important role in: integrating SCADA and PLC systems into central data and automation platformsdeveloping and maintaining APIs and software interfaces that connect physical devices and control systemssupporting the migration of legacy solutions into modern platforms, including cloud ready setupsensuring stable and secure operation of applications running on both Windows and Linux environmentscontributing to the deployment of modern development practices, such as Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelinescollaborating with cross functional colleagues to troubleshoot, enhance, and deliver reliable technical solutions.To succeed in the role, you: bring practical understanding of data centre environments and direct hardware interactionbring awareness of OT security principles and an understanding of NIS2 requirementsare comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments, building, securing, and running applications end to endhave hands on knowledge of SCADA systems, PLC programming, .NET or C#, or equivalent experienceare familiar with cloud technologies, containerisation tools, and pipelines, or equivalent experienceenjoy analysing complex problems and finding simple, effective solutionscommunicate clearly and thrive when working in a collaborative, multi stakeholder setting.Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points.
