Join us and be part of a mission that matters!About the Role:We’re looking for a Software Engineering Manager to manage a small team of developers and help architect the best software solutions for the organization. You’ll balance hands-on development with DevSecOps ownership, solutions architecture, and team leadership. Your direction will guide the team in its continual evolution toward more secure, efficient, and contemporary application delivery.As a key member of the IT Leadership, you’ll report to the Director of IT, leading 3 engineers and working closely with the Program Manager to ensure that we build software well, and that our systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs.Salary: $169,550 - $254,330We believe in recognizing your unique talents and experience—that’s why salary is based on each candidate’s qualifications. Our goal is to make sure everyone feels valued for the expertise they bring! What You’ll Do:Provide leadership in the design, development, and implementation of software and applications.Own system architecture and ensure designs continue to be scalable, maintainable, and secure.Continue modernization efforts across tools, infrastructure, and development processes (including CI/CD and DevSecOps).Provide scope and prioritization on work assignments, paying strong attention to detail and deadlines. Utilize and promote the use of Enterprise tools and development/support standards and best practices.Perform systems analysis and project management activities that include planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide business applications and computer systems.Monitor application modification requests and ensure best practices are followed.Other duties, as assigned.What You’ll Need:A four-year college degree from an accredited university; with an emphasis in Management or Technology preferredMinimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years in a supervisory role5 or more years of hands-on experience with software development (Java preferred) and understanding enterprise-scale systems3+ years of experience with software security principles and DevSecOpsExperience influencing solutions architecture and development practicesVery comfortable with continuous integration/deployment tools (Jenkins) and version control systems (Bitbucket/Git)Interest in shaping lightweight, effective engineering processes for a mature teamAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver according to deadlinesGood interpersonal communication and leadership skillsFamiliarity with insurance domain platforms (e.g., Guidewire) is preferredWhat You’ll Get:·      Flexible Remote and Hybrid work options·      Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family·      Employer-provided life and disability insurance·      Generous Paid Time Off Program·      A Best-In-Class 401(k) plan with company match·      Competitive Salary and participation in results-based Manager Bonus Program·      Company-paid Training and Certification programs·      Mentorship and Coaching opportunities within the Guaranty Association community
