Logistics SolutionsSSI SCHAEFER implements complex logistics systems, from system planning and consulting to turnkey facilities and customized service and maintenance offers. We specialize in the following six industries, for which we develop customized solution strategies:Food Retail: Automated storage solutions for customers who store and ship food. Deliveries are made to wholesalers, stores or via e-commerce channels. The warehouses usually have different cold zones.Food & Beverage: storage and picking solutions for beverages, food/sweets, frozen food dairy products.Retail & Wholesale: Solutions for companies whose business is the intermediate storage and resale of mostly non-food products to retailers or end customers.Healthcare & Cosmetics: warehousing solutions for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors. Deliveries are made primarily to pharmacies, drugstores, cosmetics stores and e-commerce customers.Industry: Automated warehousing and transport solutions in the industrial sector. This includes the manufacturing industry in mechanical and plant engineering, automotive and electrical engineering. The solutions range from warehouse logistics in the production environment and spare parts logistics to the use of robotics and automated guided vehicles.Fashion: All customers who trade in, or produce, fashion articles. The goods can be conveyed or stored horizontally, suspended or packed.Job SummarySoftware Projects and Integration Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the software projects both stand alone and in conjunction with automation.Key Responsibilities:Overall project management of SW projects for new and existing customersResponsible for the technical and commercial aspects of the project within the software scope of worksOverall solution integration management during site commissioning and ramp-upLead workshops with the customers to define business requirementsBe up to date with best-practice processes within the logistics industryProvide sales consultancy on software solutions, including quotes and best practice processesProvide availability after hours for project-related work during commissioning, integration and ramp-upGenerate quality user documentation as required within the project realization processParticipate in commissioning and testing at customer sites as requiredAs defined in SSI-SCHAEFER IT Project Manager/ Lead Logistics Consultant / Quality Assurance Manager/ IT Sales Consultant role descriptions About youKnowledge, abilities and experienceGood knowledge of Warehouse Management SystemsExperience in operating in a Waterfall MethodologyExperience in intralogistics environment is desirableCompetent in Software applications such as Jira, MS Project etc.Strong stakeholder management skillsProactive with good leadership skillsSkillsAble to handle complex project management environmentGood knowledge of warehouse management processesKnow-how of industry-specific warehouse practices and regulations such as GAMP for Pharmaceuticals, Track-and-trace requirements, F&B specifics etc.Waterfall / Agile methodologiesStrong analytical skillsData analysis and query writing (SQL)Understanding of testing methodologiesEducation, certification and qualificationsDegree level technical or commercial qualifications in: IT, Software Development, Logistics, Computer Science Degree or Programming QualificationsFluent in English (written & oral)What we offerMNC exposureReputable employer in the intralogistics industryAbility to work with colleagues from diverse backgroundsFlexible work arrangements
