Job DescriptionIn a nutshellWe’re looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester / Test Automation Engineer to join our forensic software team in Dresden-Hellerau. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our solutions, which support criminal investigations, forensic medicine, and DNA analysis.Where will you be based and what business will you support?You’ll be based in Dresden-Hellerau, supporting our software products used by forensic labs, police departments, and investigative institutions across Europe.How can you help us?Test Automation & Quality AssuranceDevelop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using QF-TestMonitor test progress and ensure comprehensive test coverageAnalyse and evaluate test results to maintain high product qualityDocument and track deviations in close collaboration with developersSupport and maintain the test infrastructureContribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodsQualificationsEducationDegree or vocational training in computer science, software development, or a related fieldExperienceHands-on experience with QF-Test or similar test automation tools is a plusISTQB certification is beneficial but not requiredSkills & AttributesStrong analytical thinking and structured working styleHigh attention to detail and quality awarenessBasic understanding of scientific principlesExcellent communication skills in German and EnglishTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive approachAre you our kind of extraordinary?You’re passionate about software quality and eager to work on meaningful projects.
