Our client, a very reputable company in the Renewable Energy & Construction Sector, based in Marousi, is looking to hire a Solar Solutions Manager to lead their Solar Solutions business unit. The Role As a Solar Solutions Manager at a leading company in energy efficiency in Greece, you will lead the solar division across residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale projects. With full responsibility for the development and performance of the team and operations, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth and excellence in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers (presales, design, project management, site engineers) across all project categoriesOversee the full lifecycle of solar projects from lead generation to commissioning, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality deliveryEnsure delivery against KPIs related to performance, quality, cost, and customer satisfactionShape and implement the department’s strategic and commercial direction in collaboration with the Company’s management and the other departmentsSupport the design and rollout of new products (e.g., Solar-as-a-Service, energy communities)Ensure technical excellence in design, proposals, and project executionCoordinate closely with internal departments (Commercial, Permitting, O&M, Finance) for seamless operationsSupport the Pre-Sales team in proposal preparation and technical assessmentsEngage with key clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnershipsMonitor departmental performance and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsManage budgeting, reporting, and resource planning for the divisionMonitor market trends, emerging technologies, competition, and regulatory changesRepresent the company in conferences, supplier meetings, and institutional forums Role Requirements:University degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field); postgraduate studies or certifications in project or energy management (e.g., PMP) are considered an assetMinimum of 8 years of proven experience in the solar energy sector, including residential, commercial & industrial, and utility-scale projects.Familiarity with financial concepts such as CapEx, LCoE, IRR, and project pricing modelsHands-on experience with project management platforms and engineering software (e.g., MS Project, Asana)Good understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting procedures, and funding/subsidy programsStrong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to engage stakeholders and work collaboratively across functions and teamsExcellent command of both Greek and English, written and spokenProficiency in MS Office and digital tools commonly used in technical and business environmentsWhat is offered A key leadership role in a recognized company within one of the most rapidly growing sectors in GreeceThe opportunity to be an active member of the management team and shape the strategy and operations of a high-impact business unitA dynamic and collaborative working environment with a skilled and motivated engineering teamParticipation in innovative and forward-looking energy and investment projectsContinuous professional development and learning opportunitiesCompetitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications Apply now and connect your talent and ambitions to a world of opportunities!
