Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking SolarWinds Administrator to lead our enterprise observability initiatives. The ideal candidate will enhance and maintain the SolarWinds ecosystem, design system integrations, and support infrastructure transformation projects to improve visibility, automation, and proactive issue resolution across hybrid environments. Key ResponsibilitiesObservability & MonitoringAdminister and optimize SolarWinds Orion and its core modules (HCO, NPM, SAM, DPA, IPAM, NTA, EOC, etc.).Implement intelligent alerting, anomaly detection, and dynamic thresholds.Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for performance monitoring.Ensure high platform performance, availability, and data accuracy.Integrations & AutomationDesign and deploy integrations with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira), CMDBs, cloud platforms, and automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell).Use APIs, Python, and PowerShell to automate workflows and data synchronization.Enable closed-loop operations linking observability data with incident and change management.Infrastructure TransformationCollaborate with architecture teams on cloud migration and hybrid observability strategies.Standardize and automate monitoring processes to improve efficiency.Maintain documentation including HLDs, network diagrams, and SOPs.Support disaster recovery planning and execution.Data Governance & ReportingManage asset metadata and ensure CMDB data accuracy.Generate performance, capacity, and compliance reports for stakeholders.Administer user roles and permissions following security policies.Oversee IPAM, configuration backups, and database monitoring.Operational SupportProvide on-call and after-hours support when needed.Troubleshoot complex cross-domain issues using observability data.Promote continuous improvement and best practices in monitoring and automation. Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years of SolarWinds administration (Orion Platform & modules).7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure (networking, systems, databases).Proven experience integrating SolarWinds with ITSM, automation, and cloud tools.Proficiency in Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise protocols (SNMP, WMI, NetFlow).Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, and SQL.Strong knowledge of IT security and data governance.SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) is mandatory. Preferred QualificationsCCNA, MCP, or ITIL v4 certification(s).Experience in large-scale, global infrastructure environments.Familiarity with Azure/AWS and hybrid monitoring.Exposure to AIOps, Splunk/ELK, or telemetry pipelines.Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical insights to business audiences.Passion for innovation, automation, and operational excellence.
