What are we looking for?We are seeking a strategic and experienced Regional Business Manager – Agro to join our team in Ghana.

The ideal candidate will lead and optimize our commercial Agro operations nationwide, with responsibility for sales performance, customer portfolio development, market presence, and team leadership. As the main point of contact for commercial Agro activities, you will develop and implement market strategies, build strong client relationships, and guide a high-performing team to achieve sustainable and profitable growth. You will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Group Head of Agro and other business leaders.

What do we expect from the candidate?As the Regional Business Manager, you will establish SOLEVO as a market leader in Ghana’s agricultural sector by building an effective go-to-market strategy and translating our market presence into tangible value creation. You will manage customer segmentation, pricing, gross-to-net conversion, inventories, and receivables — while ensuring a robust sales organization and an agile operational structure. Key Responsibilities Lead the Agro business in Ghana, implementing the right commercial structure and distribution strategy for growth. Manage and grow key accounts, including regular customer visits, technical support, and credit follow-up.

Oversee and optimize the sales operations, including team performance monitoring and coaching. Develop and manage the customer portfolio, including financial assessment and corrective actions. Ensure accurate sales and stock forecasts through the SOP process, aligning with supply chain and production teams. Define production and repackaging needs in collaboration with the Production Manager. Roll out SOLEVO’s marketing strategy on the ground, adapting brand and product presentations to local needs. Gather competitive and customer intelligence to refine strategic actions. Set and monitor price and volume targets, including margin performance over both short and long-term horizons.

Manage credit policies and drive receivables collection in line with company targets. Supervise product development and registration strategy, identifying new opportunities and overseeing trials. Lead and inspire a team of 10+ commercial staff, ensuring high motivation, skill development, and alignment with business objectives. If you possess…Must-Have Master’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in commercial management, preferably in the agricultural sector. Proven experience leading and developing sales teams. Strong understanding of Ghana’s agriculture market, including regulations, stakeholders, and value chains. Expertise in crop protection products, fertilizers, and/or seeds.

Strong business development skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach. Nice-to-Have Experience working with cross-functional teams (supply chain, procurement, marketing). Familiarity with sales planning tools, customer segmentation, and incentive systems. Strong negotiation, communication, and financial acumen. Ability to analyze complex markets and translate insights into action. Knowledge of local languages and/or French is a plus.
