Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Solibri’s core web and cloud-based products, delivering scalable, high-performance full stack features for both desktop and cloud environments. Architect, implement, and maintain robust APIs and backend services, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability for large-scale data processing. Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow engineers to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions that solve complex technical challenges. Drive integration with third-party platforms and services, leveraging modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure to enhance product capabilities.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and security through thorough code reviews, automated testing, and mentoring of junior developers. Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and automation to optimize product reliability and developer productivity. Stay current with emerging technologies in SaaS, cloud computing (especially AWS), and modern web development frameworks to ensure Solibri’s solutions remain industry-leading. Foster a culture of trust, independence, and solution-driven development aligned with Solibri’s mission of delivering high-quality, impactful software. Required Skill and Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience as a full stack developer, with a strong track record of building and maintaining complex web applications and cloud-based solutions. Advanced frontend development skills using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Next. js, with a focus on delivering intuitive and performant user interfaces. Solid backend development experience with Node. js, Python, Java, or similar languages, including building scalable APIs and microservices. Deep expertise with AWS cloud services (such as S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, Amplify and Cognito), including experience with infrastructure as code, deployment, and monitoring. Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of software quality assurance, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies. Experience integrating third-party APIs and platforms, and familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices in web applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex requirements into robust, maintainable solutions. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, distributed team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with BIM data validation, rule-based engines, or model checking tools. Knowledge of openBIM standards and interoperability protocols.
