Your Role & Mission - As a Solution Engineer, you will collaborate closely with customers, own the data implementation process and ensure smooth customer onboarding. You will be responsible for integrating customer ERP data into the Carbmee platform, analyzing data, identifying gaps, and designing the technical implementation process to close those gaps.Please note, that this is NOT a pre-sales nor a Software Engineering position. While your primary focus will be on technical implementation, we’re looking for an all-rounder who thrives in balancing implementations, integrations, data management, and project management. You’ll manage complex technical implementations, drive data transformations and imports, and optimize workflows to improve efficiency, all while aligning with customer needs and project timelines. This includes using and building tools and scripts for data-related tasks such as data feedback, data pre-processing, and customised tasks that arise during the customer journey. This role demands a flexible, problem-solving approach and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes. Sounds exciting? Then apply below and join us on our journey to achieving net-zero!TasksOwn the end-to-end implementation process, guiding customers through a seamless onboarding journey and ensuring a successful integration of data into Carbmee’s platformAnalyze data from customers’ ERP systems, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their processes and guide data integrationHandle data transformations and imports, ensuring customer datasets meet Carbmee’s requirements while providing feedback and recommendations for improvementImplement initial datasets and data change requests in the carbmee EIS softwareDevelop and manage structured project plans, outlining key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables while coordinating closely with all stakeholders to ensure successful executionUse and build scripts and tools needed for the customer journey Provide hands-on support to customers, troubleshooting technical issues proactively and ensuring a smooth adoption of Carbmee’s platformTechnical Consulting including continuously optimizing implementation workflows, identifying opportunities for scalability, automation, and improved efficiencyCommunicate needs for data tools to Data Engineers to make sure you always have the best-fitting tools for the jobRequirementsAt least 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data analysis, or technical project managementProven project management expertise, successfully leading data-driven implementations with multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environmentsStrong SaaS and data integration expertise, with knowledge of APIs and basic scripting (Python, SQL) as well as an understanding of ERP infrastructure (especially SAP)Hands-on experience with data imports, including data transformation, cleaning, validation, and preparation for seamless integration to support customers as well as internal teams in integration processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured, solution-oriented mindsetAdvanced Excel and data analysis proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) to support data preparation and validationCollaborative team player, comfortable working across distributed and cross-functional teamsExcellent English skills, German skills are a great plusPassionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions, and decarbonization management in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and visionExcited to join our diverse and international team in Berlin or Munich and work remotely or from our offices in a hybrid environmentBenefitsUnique & Powerful Mission - join a fast-growing and ambitious tech company that is shaping the future of carbon management and fighting climate changeCompensation & Rewards - a steep learning curve and ownership from day one.
