As part of this journey, they are seeking experienced Solution Architects to join their IT Architecture team and help drive innovation across critical systems.These roles offer a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact transformation programme while advancing your career in a dynamic and future-focused environment.About the RolesAs a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing scalable, extensible, and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with strategic IT goals and business needs. You will lead solution design efforts, influence strategic direction, and provide thought leadership across the organisation.Each role focuses on a specific domain:Market Systems: Energy market systems and electricity market functions.Power Systems: Energy Management Systems, SCADA, and decision support tools.Corporate Systems: Digital Workplace, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Microsoft technologies (e.g. M365, Dynamics, PowerPlatform).Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of solution designs and technical documentation.Engage with stakeholders to define and design solutions.Develop solution options and influence strategic direction.Define technology roadmaps in collaboration with enterprise architecture.Promote architectural standards, principles, and best practices.Analyse industry trends and assess emerging technologies.Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.Represent the organisation in industry forums and share insights.Skills & ExperienceEssential:Degree or higher in a relevant discipline.Deep professional experience in the relevant domain (Market, Power, or Corporate Systems).Broad experience across architecture domains: application, data, integration, infrastructure, security, development, operations.Strong problem-solving and structured thinking abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively.Understanding of secure, high-availability IT environments.Certifications or training in solution design (e.g. TOGAF, Cloud, ICS, BCS).For Corporate Systems: Experience with Microsoft technologies (M365, Dynamics, PowerPlatform/Fabric).This employer is an equal opportunities organisation.If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in the energy sector, apply now to be part of this transformative journey.Adecco Ireland is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
