Solutions Architect – Data Platform (f/m/d) Your TasksDesign, build, enhance and maintain scalable data lake architectures and data flows on Azure and DatabricksDevelop and operate robust data pipelines for batch and streaming workloadsDefine and continuously optimize data models as foundation for BI and Data Science use casesDevelop and maintain data ingestion solutions from diverse sources such as:Industrial IoT/sensorsAzure Blob StorageIntegrate SAP data into the data platform ERP/CRM/MIIB2B/B2C platformsAPIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud servicesDefine implement and enhance a target operating model for the data lake & data platformDevelop a corporate data strategy and governance principlesDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelinesOrchestration workflows using Databricks Asset BundlesOptimize data storage, retention and processing for performance and cost efficiencyEnsure reliable operations through monitoring, troubleshooting and 2nd/3rd level supportPerform data transformation and enrichment to enable advanced analytics and AI solutionsCollaborate with business departments to understand their requirementsYour ProfileDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or similar technical fieldStrong experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred) including services like Databricks and Azure Data LakeHands-on experience in building ETL/ELT data pipelinesProficiency in data modeling & data architectureKnowledge of programming/scripting (Python preferred, Spark, SQL, Terraform is a plus)Knowledge of DevOps principalsStrong sense of responsibility, ownership, and structureExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teamsFluent English, additional languages a plusOur OfferBenefitsAn attractive workplace in a dynamic environment with development opportunities of an internationally acting group is awaiting you.
