With international expansion, an innovative culture, and a strong team spirit, Semine is on its way to becoming the next big tech success story.About the positionAs a Solution Engineer at Semine, your primary responsibility is to support the sales team by demonstrating the technical capabilities of our product and explaining how it can solve a customer's problems. You will act as a technical expert, bridging the gap between the sales team and the customer's technical environment. To succeed, you should have in-depth product knowledge, understand the client’s technical infrastructure, and be able to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential, as are excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities. You should also be adaptable to different client scenarios and enjoy collaborating closely with sales representatives to guide them through the sales process.Your key responsibilities will include:Technical Product Demonstrations: You'll showcase Semine’s product features and capabilities to potential customers, highlighting how they can solve specific client problemsAnswering Complex Technical Questions: Customers may have technical questions, and you will provide clear and concise answers, often on the spotCustomizing Solutions for Specific Client Needs: You'll collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored solutions that meet each customer’s unique requirementsSupporting the Sales Team Throughout the Sales Cycle: You'll guide sales representatives through complex conversations and help close dealsRepresenting Semine at Client Meetings and Workshops: You'll participate in meetings, webinars, and industry events, ensuring a strong client experienceEnsuring Smooth Handover to Delivery Teams: You'll make sure pre-sales knowledge and client context are effectively transferred to the delivery teamsWe believe you have:Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales supportKnowledge of B2B software solutions, ideally SaaS or ERP/accounting systemsA strong technical understanding combined with business acumenA background in finance, accounting, or ERP systems is a clear advantageThe ability to adapt quickly to different client scenarios and environmentsExcellent communication and presentation skills, confident in both small and large settingsA Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher educationFluent in English and Finnish; additional languages are a plusTo succeed in this role, you should be ambitious, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced growth environment.
