Job Description

SummarySolvent Capital Partners seeks an elite capital raiser to lead institutional fundraising and allocator coverage, owning the full lifecycle from origination and narrative development through diligence, closing, and post-close expansion. This is a performance-driven role for top performers only; only candidates with a proven, recent track record of raising institutional capital for hedge funds or alternative strategies will be considered. Candidates without fundraising experience should not apply and will be automatically rejected. ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute a targeted coverage plan across UK/Europe and selected international channels, including family offices, private banks, fund-of-funds, OCIOs, endowments, foundations, pensions, and sovereign investors.

Build, qualify, and convert a deep pipeline through direct outreach, allocator referrals, conferences, and strategic partnerships, maintaining high hit rates from first meeting to commitment. Partner with the CIO/PMs to craft compelling, data-driven narratives, performance context, risk framing, and product positioning that resonate with sophisticated allocators. Lead end‑to‑end fundraising processes: meetings, roadshows, on-sites, investment and operational due diligence, legal/compliance coordination, and commercial term negotiations. Own RFP/DDQ responses, data room readiness, and ODD documentation standards; anticipate allocator concerns and resolve them proactively.

Drive disciplined CRM usage, forecasting, attribution, and KPI reporting; provide clear visibility on pipeline health, cycle times, and expected closes. Strengthen post‑close relationships with best‑in‑class reporting cadence, portfolio transparency, and strategic capacity/dialogue to expand wallet share. Represent Solvent Capital Partners with credibility, urgency, and integrity at all times. QualificationsDemonstrable, recent track record of closing institutional commitments into hedge funds or alternative strategies, with clear personal attribution. Deep allocator network across multiple channels (family offices, private banks, FoF, OCIOs, endowments, foundations, pensions, SWFs) and the ability to unlock new relationships quickly. Strong product fluency:

able to explain strategy edge, performance drivers, factor/risk exposures, drawdown/volatility management, portfolio construction, and operational infrastructure to exacting institutional standards. Mastery of fundraising workflows: RFP/DDQ authorship, data room and ODD readiness, reference calls, fee/side-letter negotiation, managed accounts, and onboarding. Excellent communication and presence; able to lead high‑stakes meetings, handle probing diligence, and close commitments with conviction. Process rigor and CRM discipline, with a metrics-driven mindset, short sales cycles, and high conversion rates. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credentials valued but secondary to proven results.

What success looks likeConsistent conversion of qualified pipeline to signed commitments within defined cycle times. Repeat commitments and wallet-share growth from existing LPs. High-quality meeting density with top-quartile allocators and strong referral velocity. Flawless diligence execution and minimal friction in legal/compliance processes. CompensationHighly competitive base plus uncapped, performance-based bonus tied to net new fee‑bearing AUM, with deferral/retention mechanics aligned to investor durability. For exceptional performers, potential participation in revenue share on durable capital and managed accounts, subject to attribution and compliance approvals.

LocationOnsite at 100 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG, with regular travel to meet allocators and attend key industry events.
