Sourcing and Purchasing Associate

MissionAs a Sourcing Associate, you will play a key role in defining and implementing procurement strategies for mechanical components and assembly part in the development and manufacturing of IBA equipment.You will act as a real coordinator to internal stakeholders (R&D, Engineering, Procurement Team and Project Managers), while ensuring supplier performance, cost optimization, and contractual compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine, get approval on and implement sourcing strategies for your categories of products/servicesCollaborate with commercial leaders, R&D and project managers of each B.U. to identify their needs and requirements.Prepare, challenge the suppliers, and negotiate to get the best technological offer in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery conditionsDefine and implement frame-contracts and Service Level Agreements with selected suppliers and drive contract complianceEnsure the quality and delivery performance of your suppliers in collaboration with the Supplier Development Engineer and Procurement officerBuild up and secure production capacities at suppliers' in accordance with IBA's business plan on strategic equipmentIdentify and implement collaborative actions to reduce the Total Cost of OwnershipLead process implementation, change management efforts and continuous improvement initiatives to increase effectiveness and efficiencyBe able to understand how products are manufactured to support sourcing decisions and negotiationSkills And QualificationsYou haveEngineering or technical background (or equivalent experience) with a first experience of 2-3 years in procurementAbility to read technical drawingsKnowledge in Excel is mandatoryKnowledge about SAP is a strong assetExcellent communication skills in English and French, both written and spokenAnd you areStrong interpersonal skills, able to communicate with various internal stakeholders and external suppliersCoordination abilities to lead procurement activities while working closely with supplier development engineersProven ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsExcellent reporting skills: capable of structuring, presenting, and communicating sourcing data and insights to top management.What We OfferAn open-ended contractAttractive Benefits: Competitive package including company car, meal vouchers, group insurance, and more.Internal Mobility: Benefit from diverse career development opportunities across departments and projects within a growing, global company.
