About The RoleThe sourcing coordinator will be responsible for client volume monitoring. He/She will act as an interface between the sustainability and traceability department and will be responsible for monitoring the sourcing team objectives. He/She will ensure business continuity in the absence of the Cocoa Sourcing Manager.Key Responsabilities IncludeVolume MonitoringParticipates in the development and monitoring of the purchasing matrixParticipates in the development of the MTP (mid-term plan)Participates in the development and monitoring of the SOURCING dashboardParticipates in monitoring the growth of the supplier pool ranged by client according to the MTP/MatrixParticipates in monitoring the process of onboarding of the potential clientsClient VolumesAct as an interface between the sustainability and traceability departments of the country for all matters relating to client volumes/suppliersSet up a client sourcing ReportingEnsures business continuity in the absence of the Cocoa Sourcing ManagerIn case of absence from the Cocoa Sourcing Manager, acts as interim contact with the group for matters relating to client volumes/suppliers Cocoa sourcing Team Follow up and AssessmentDevelops and monitors sourcing reporting and round tracking (round reports, geolocation tracking, and Travel business expense budget monitoring)Monitors sourcing team's objectives (AFO/RFO)Participates in the development and improvement of the competitive intelligence dashboardEnsures continuity of operations with the sourcing team in the absence of the Cocoa Sourcing ManagerOrganize and lead local/group meetings in the absence of the Cocoa Sourcing ManagerSustainability / Traceability Certification / ComplianceParticipates in the follow up of Rainforest Alliance certification and validation of Rainforest Alliance volumes by sourcing teamParticipates in the monitoring of Fairtrade certification and validation of Fairtrade volumes by sourcing teamParticipates in the selection of suppliers for various projects and ensures that they meet the groups and clients’ requirementsBe the key point of contact between the sustainability and traceability departments to ensure that sourcing requests comply with the group's and client's prerogatives.Monitor PP KPIsEUDR Traceability/ComplianceMonitor the updating of producer registration to support the traceability teamParticipate and monitor the EUDR compliance remediation action procedureSupport the various requests of the traceability team.About YouEducation and Experience:Minimum 3 years in sourcing and/or sustainability in your countryMinimum bachelor's degreeVery good command of the Windows Communication Suite in French and English (fluent)Knowledge of rural areas in Africa, if possibleLanguage Skills:Fluency in both French and English with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages (mandatory)Key Skills: Managerial skillsExperience working in a multicultural environmentAbility to communicate clearly to diverse audiencesAbility to communicate clearly and persuasively to diverse audiencesProficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using insights for strategic decision-makingExperience developing and delivering training programs tailored to different audiencesExperience managing budgets and financial resources effectively, including knowledge of financial reporting and accountabilityAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectivelyA demonstrated ability to navigate and respect diverse cultural diversity contexts and practicesAn experience of the cocoa sector would be highly appreciatedAbility to drive and possess a valid driving licenseBe able to go on assignment outside the countrySolution minded Manages and responds to crises effectively and calmly, Proactive and FlexibleCross-cultural sensitivity and adaptabilityInnovative mindset with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions, drive initiatives, and adapt strategies in a dynamic environmentProject management skillsTeam playerEffective CommunicatorAbility, and willingness to work in rural settings when requiredMust willingly exhibit all the core values of the Barry Callebaut group – Integrity, Customer focus, Passion, Entrepreneurship, and Team SpiritAbility to lead and be able to plan, coordinate and monitor in order to achieve resultsAbility to explain complex reporting processes to end users with strong coaching and training skillsStrong listening, analytical skills and solution minded N.B : Interested internal candidates should submit their applications via the SUCCESS FACTORS platform no later than October 24th, 2025 At Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity & Inclusion.
