ResumenIs responsible for executing and supporting sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, components, and services for the manufacturing operation. This role involves supplier selection, cost analysis, contract negotiation, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply base performance, quality, and delivery in alignment with company objectives.ResponsabilidadesMain ResponsibilitiesIdentify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for assigned commodities and manufacturing categories.Lead and support RFQ (Request for Quotation) and RFP (Request for Proposal) processes to obtain competitive pricing and terms.Negotiate contracts, pricing, lead times, and payment conditions in alignment with corporate policies.Analyze supplier performance through KPIs such as On-Time Delivery, Cost Savings, Quality, and Responsiveness.Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure suppliers meet technical and operational requirements.Participate in cost-reduction and value engineering projects.Maintain and update sourcing documentation, supplier databases, and audit records.Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing standards, company policies, and safety regulations.Support the transition and qualification of new suppliers or materials in manufacturing processes.Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues in quality, logistics, or performance.Technical SkillsKnowledge of procurement and sourcing processes in a manufacturing environment.Experience with supplier management, negotiations, and cost analysis.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Workday / Oracle or similar).Strong Excel and data analysis skills for cost breakdown and reporting.Understanding of supply chain metrics, logistics operations, and inventory control.Bilingual proficiency (English / Spanish) preferred.Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field.2–4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment (preferably metal-mechanical or refrigeration industry).Experience managing commodities such as metals, plastics, electronic components, or indirect materials is a plus.Soft SkillsStrong negotiation and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Results-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.High sense of responsibility and ethical conduct.REQ-152972
